Project one sensory and ethnography
For my final hand in for project one, im taking a more abstract approach towards this experiment for understanding my sensory ethnographic. I will reveal the experience of using vicks as a task given to the person doing the experiment without actually using vicks.
This experiment will be based on when you have blocked sineses, heavy headed, cant breath through your nose, and basically cant concentrate on something with these things happening to you. So you would then apply or use 'vicks' in how ever means to help these disadvantages. With what you feel when you use vicks, is a soothing sensation, and relieving to the mind and body and you feel brand new and fresh, so there for you can concentrate and do things faster better etc.

How i am going to go about doing this project is have the experimenter take on and do the given task, but while doing this task he/she will be hindered by noises by headphones, nosies of outside people, videos, images and a variety of videos to be very distracting to the person, whilst they are trying to concentrate on the given task. then affter doing the task, tell them to take the headphones off and redo the task, this time time there will be no noises around them and they will be able to concentrate on the given task more easier, and faster, and better.
This will show he sensorys of how i portrayed the vicks sensation above.
i will concentrate on the 'Reliefness' sensation, from facial expressions during the experiment through video and pictures at certain points. and how they react with/without hindering outside noises.
Ill also take into consideration how fast the do each task, how easy, and if they get it right in the end. from which i will make a graph of my findings.
